Secfix was founded during the COVID pandemic. Since Day One, we decided to work 100% remotely. Tools like Slack, Miro, Figma, Clickup are our loyal friends. Our highlight is a 100% virtual metaverse office in the tool Gather where we work side-by-side with the entire team and have an actual space with tables and phone booths.
Once a year the entire Secfix team meets in sunny warm places to spend time together, bond, and brainstorm on the future of Secfix.
Secfix is one of Germany's most diverse startups. Our founders are immigrants, they experienced the challenges of being away from family in big tech, so we allow team members with local contracts to work abroad for up to 3 months. Meet Hassan, our software engineer, visiting his family in Pakistan.
As an early-stage startup working remotely, we learned that in-person meet-ups are just essential to building culture and deeper connections. That’s why we are meeting up at events (on the picture Bits & Pretzels 2022) and off-site. We are planning our first team offsite right now during which the entire team will be working together from a nice warm place for a week.

In 2024 we had a very special Summit in Italy to celebrate our yet biggest revenue goal and make pizza from scratch!
With a goal to help SMBs get secure as easy as ordering a pizza, we started by building the simplest MVP for a company to scope and outsource pentesting to vetted pentesting boutiques across Europe. It was just the beginning. After realizing customers need pentest to get compliant with ISOC 27001, team decided to build a simplified experience for customers to prepare for ISO 27001 audit.
Why ISO 27001? Today ISO 27001 is a common way for technology companies operating in Europe in all industries to show that they are secure. We are building a security-in-a-box solution that every internet-related company needs: everything from Google Workspaces & Email account monitoring to laptop monitoring, employee onboarding, cloud and server configuration, security policy and incident response plans, and many more.
